Designed specifically for middle school and high school geology and earth science teachers, this workshop connects Ohio’s Physical Geology Standards to hands-on lessons related to the natural gas and oil industry. Participating teachers will receive lesson plans, geological maps, digital resources, rock and mineral kits and other classroom supplies. This free teacher workshop includes: overnight accommodations, meals, curriculum, classroom supplies, material kits, hands-on sessions, an evening industry dinner, a special field trip, CEU credit documentation and optional Ashland University graduate credits, plus much more!
