Oil, gas industry offering scholarships

Coshocton Tribune. The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program and the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Foundation will be taking applications for $1,000 scholarships through March 1.

Scholarships are awarded to students interested in pursuing careers in the natural gas and oil industry, such as petroleum engineer, finance, equipment operator, mechanical engineer and welder. Students must be a U.S. citizen, resident of Ohio or attending an Ohio institution of higher learning and have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
