Congressman Meets With Oil and Gas Industry Representatives

Dover WJER-FM. 7th District Congressman Bob Gibbs has an updated picture on the challenges area leaders are facing in the oil and gas industry. The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program and Ohio Oil and Gas Association held a roundtable discussion with Gibbs at Sound Energy in Dover Tuesday. Gibbs says they brought up concerns about possible tax policy changes being mentioned in Washington where oil and gas operations would no longer be able to deduct intangible expenses such as fuel and labor costs. About a dozen industry leaders from around the state attended the forum. Gibbs says plans to share these concerns with house colleagues in the majority, and he hopes they listen.Click here to view the original article.
