Ohio’s Natural Gas and Oil Industry Replace Toys Lost in Warehouse Fire

Sherrodsville, OH - Ohio’s natural gas and oil industry is stepping up in a big way to ensure Santa makes it to every home this year. After a fire destroyed the Tuscarawas County Toys for Tots warehouse and business of marine veteran Bob Stratton Monday afternoon, area producers and landowners stepped in to fully replace the lost toys.Pin Oak Energy Partners, one of several producers and landowners involved in replacing the lost toys, presented the donation today. Pin Oak Energy Partners’ CEO Chris Halvorson said, “We can’t replace everything Mr. Stratton lost in this tragedy, but we can make sure the Toys for Tots program has the resources it needs to keep the magic of the holidays alive for the kids of Tuscarawas County. Pin Oak Energy Partners and Ohio’s natural gas and oil industry have long supported Toys for Tots, and we’re proud to be making this donation today.”The Ohio Oil and Gas Association (OOGA) coordinates an industry wide effort to support Toys for Tots across eastern Ohio every year. In addition to this donation, the industry has coordinated donations in support of local Toys for Tots programs in Belmont County, Carroll County, Harrison County, Jefferson County, and Monroe County.If you are interested in making a donation to the Toys for Tots program, you can mail a check to P.O.
