OOGEEP Announces 2022 Scholarship Application Period

Citadel University. The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program (OOGEEP) and the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Foundation have announced that applications for the 2022 scholarships are now being accepted through March 1. Natural gas and oil industry, such as petroleum engineer, finance, equipment operator, mechanical engineer, welder and many more. To qualify for a $1,000 scholarship, a student must:He must be a US citizen.You must have a career objective in the oil and natural gas industry.Must be a resident of Ohio or a student attending or planning to attend an accredited Ohio college, university, technical or trade school.You must have and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.Since 2007, OOGEEP has offered more than 567 scholarships to students who are pursuing careers in the natural gas and oil industry. These past winners represented more than 51 different colleges, universities, technical or business schools, and include more than 59 different majors, degrees, or degree programs. Previous winners have come from all over Ohio.
