Former VP Pence, Gov. Dewine Discuss Ohio’s Natural Gas and Oil Industry

Fox 19.  Former Vice President Mike Pence joined Gov. Mike DeWine in Cincinnati Thursday for a roundtable discussion with members of Ohio’s natural gas and oil industry.The discussion was hosted by the Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program about the priority of using American natural gas and oil, according to a news release.Pence reflected on the low gas prices “we experienced” during the Trump-Pence administration”With the right leadership here in Ohio and the right leadership in Washington, DC we can do it all again,” the former vice president said.Pence was also expected to attend a fundraiser for the re-election campaign of Congressman Steve Chabot today during his visit to Cincinnati.The former vice president’s visit fell on the same day that the U.S. House Jan. 6 commission held another hearing, this one examining how former President Donald Trump might have pressured Pence to overturn the 2020 presidential election.Shortly after the Capitol was breeched, Pence was escorted from the Senate chamber and taken to a secure location. According to the Jan. 6 Committee, some protestors got within 40 feet of Mike Pence during the attack.Pence had no comment on the committee hearings.Click here to view original article.
