GOSAFER Training Vital for Ohio's First Responders
As a leader in energy production Ohio is striving to also lead in safety. It’s pivotal that we not only support the thriving natural gas and oil industry in our state but ensure that it’s operating in an environment that benefits everyone. That’s why I’m proud to share that the Ohio Natural Energy Institute is once again offering our premiere GOSAFER training program to first responders.
This effort is paramount to keep our emergency officials safe and well-prepared for any situation involving our industry. This training is a collaborative effort between our energy producers and is set to equip first responders with essential skills for handling energy-related emergencies effectively.
GOSAFER training takes a hybrid approach—blending virtual education with hands-on exercises—ensuring participants grasp critical aspects, from site safety to HAZMAT protocols, equipment management, and petroleum product transportation. I invite all local emergency officials to embrace this opportunity and join this free GOSAFER training.
Your participation not only will enhance your skills but also contributes to making Ohio safer for everyone. Let's stand together in bolstering our community's safety while supporting our critical natural resources.
