License Plate Promoting Ohio Energy Now Available

Every plate purchased will support Ohio energy education and scholarships

Ohioans now have the option to support natural, essential energy when they go to the Ohio DMV. The Essential Ohio Energy natural gas and oil specialty license plate is now available. This license plate will provide additional financial resources for the Ohio Natural Energy Institute’s energy education and scholarship program.

The Ohio natural gas and oil industry provides essential energy to families in Ohio and nationwide. These license plates will promote awareness of this industry that benefits communities across the state every day. Furthermore, over 208,000 Ohio jobs are tied directly to the natural gas and oil industry. The education and scholarships provided by the Ohio Natural Energy Institute will ensure students are prepared to pursue careers in this vital industry.

“Ohioans are proud of our state and that includes the natural resources we provide to our nation,” said Ohio Natural Energy Institute Executive Director Bruce Tague. “Now Ohioans can show their support and promote the natural gas and oil industry simply by driving their vehicle with this specialty plate.”
