Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Scholarship Recipients

Sandusky Register. The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Program and The Ohio Oil and Gas Energy Education Foundation have awarded 36 $1,000 scholarships this year to students pursuing a career in the natural gas and oil industry. The 2021 class is diversely represented by individuals across 17 Ohio counties, 18 institutions of higher education, 15 local school districts and covering 22 different majors.

Five students from Erie County who received scholarships were August Berckmueller, Spencer Flick, Alex Kuhl, Nathan Nickles and Haley Ritchey. 

To qualify, students complete an application process and must be an Ohio resident or plan to attend an accredited Ohio institution of higher education. The $1,000 annual scholarship may be renewed with a total of four years of potential eligibility.
